It started with Bear.

Bear arrived as a roly-poly Chocolate Labrador puppy and immediately became the centre of our universe. Like most devoted dog owners, we spent hours reading ingredient labels, only to find that most premium-branded foods hid disappointing ingredients behind clever marketing.
We started experimenting in our kitchen — drawing on food science, veterinary nutritional research, and old-fashioned common sense. Three years and hundreds of batches later, Highland Hounds Pet Nutrition was born.
Today every single recipe is still tested on Bear first. If he doesn't go absolutely wild for it, it doesn't make the range. Simple as that.
